China Satellite 2006 committee of experts meeting

    On December.14, 2005, the China Institute of Communications (CIC) hosted a meeting to discuss about China Satellite Conference 2006.Satellite and telecommunication experts, major operators, and selected local and international major vendors were invited to attend. An impressive total of 42 representatives turned up for the discussions.

    Professor.Yang Qianli, the Conference Chairman, presided the meeting, and Deputy Secretary General of China Institute of Communications (CIC), Mr Hu Weiyi, delivered the welcoming speech. Prof. Yang expressed his deepest gratitude to the guests and appreciated their continuous support of China Satellite Conference for the past seven years, since its inception in 1999. He hoped the attendees would share their rich experiences, exchange viewpoints and suggestions to make necessary improvements for the conference to reach to the highest professional and well-organized standards. Prof. Yang also requested all the invited guests to focus on some important issues like the latest development of China's satellite and telecommunication industry, broadcasting and hot topics for next year's preliminary conference program preparation. The experts and vendors were extremely excited for being involved in the discussion and promised to do their utmost by providing individual input and continue giving fullest support to China Satellite Conference 2006.
