Magister Solutions Ltd. is a Finnish company specializing in communication network simulation and emulation tools and services for modelling real world telecom and SatCom in detail. By simulating the more advanced and more complex communication networks, we are offering network simulations as a service targeted for the design, development, optimization and maintenance of satellite and terrestrial communication networks.
Magister Solutions Ltd. has a long history related to development of wireless technologies, network simulators and R&D services for both ESA and leading telecom and SatCom companies, including Nokia, Airbus, CNES, and Thales Alenia Space. This has given us a front seat view to the telecom and SatCom industry enabling us to build state-of-the-art simulation services. To name but a few: SNS3 project focuses on the multi-spot beam GEO satellite network simulations with DVB-S2x / DVB-RCS2 protocols; S-UMTS targets the multi-spot beam GEO satellite network simulations with S-UMTS protocols; NTN implements 5G Terrestrial Network (TN) and Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) simulations for LEO/MEO/GEO/HAPS scenarios; Satellite Constellation Network Emulator (SCNE) integrates orbital simulator (AGI STK) and network simulator for studying ISL routing; C-DReAM is an LEO satellite constellation capacity evaluation simulator; NTM uses CCSDS TM/TC protocols for Launcher Telemetry System simulations.
Magister SimLab, integrates the whole network simulation workflow into one service including scenario and campaign design, simulation execution and monitoring, and results analysis. Development of detailed system simulators for telecom and/or SatCom purposes require long lasting development projects requiring time, money, and competent personnel. We offer our detailed radio network simulators introduced in previous paragraph for use through the SimLab simulation service without massive development projects enabling reduced capital costs. Graphically defined guided simulation process shall speed-up the simulation workflow enabling to get results faster, and thus, reducing labor costs. SimLab service is built on a scalable, high performance cloud-based architecture with no capital costs and operational costs only based on use.
