Since 1999, China Satellite Conference has become one of the flagship international conferences in the field of satellite applications. It brings together policy makers from China regulatory bodies as well as scientists, international satellite organisations, equipment suppliers, service operators, service providers and customers from home and abroad.

Through a series of sessions, interactive workshops and presentations, the 2009 China Satellite Conference will address the latest technologies, trends and improvement in terms of satellite communications, satellite broadcasting, satellite remote sensing, satellite navigation and global positioning system (GPS).

Keynote speeches will be delivered at the conference ranging from the recent developments in China satellite applications, relevant policies and regulations, industrial chains and regional development, to corporate operating and marketing analysis. A special session will be organized to highlight the regional development in Eastern China.

Meanwhile, the International Satellite Technology & Equipment Exhibition will be held to demonstrate the latest products and application systems of the world-renowed businesses.

This year, the conference held at the Nanjing International Expo Center has a special significance. Crowned as the "regional window" of Yangtze delta area, Nanjing has fostered and witnessed the rapid development of China communications satellite industry. The earliest Anolog Earth Station of China 311 Satellite Communications Project has been orgininated in Nanjing. Nanjing will take an advantage of the leading satellite communications equipment inustry in China to produce huge influence to the whole East China.
